Rain

It's raining once again today
I like the rain, what can I say?
'Cause rain makes all our gardens green
More rain than this I've seldom seen!

The flowers bloom, the veggies grow
It gives you confidence to sow
For summer's sun is good to see
But earth needs rain, and so do we

And without water, what can live?
I think the sky has more to give!
And that's OK, bring on the rain
The sun will shine, once more, again

And food abundant for the bears
In forests where they have their lairs
Will keep the bears away from town
And stop the need to mow them down

The squirrels, happy in their trees
The birds are happy, so are bees
So rain, you can keep falling still
And help our lakes and rivers fill.
